On March 6 the second and final culinary class was held. The Lincoln Inn’s Executive Chef Jevgenija Saromova and owner Mara Mehlman hosted the event. Saromova, who is originally from Latvia, has trained in Michelin star restaurants in Italy, France and England. There is one seating nightly in the dining room for about 20 to 26 guests, who are served each course at the same time, and encouraged to linger over Saromova’s finely plated dishes.

Chef Jevgenija Saromova came out and greeted us at the end, which was the perfect ending to our amazing dining experience. They say you can taste a chef's passion in their food and this was certainly one of the top 5 meals I've ever had in my life. Thankfully, once you pull into the 1875 farmhouse’s six green acres for prompt 7 o’clock drinks in the tavern, the rest of the work is left up to chef Jevgenija Saromova, a one-woman show in a kitchen pushing out wildly imaginative four-, seven- or 12-course tasting menus (beginning at $65) with European flair. Since its new owners, Mara Mehlman and Jevgenija Saromova, took over in 2014, the inn has established itself as a foodie hotspot, building on Saromova’s training at Michelin-starred restaurants in Italy, England, and France, and her love of seasonal, inventive and precisely—even geometrically—plated food.
